Stacking the Shelves [2]

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks.
Stacking the Shelves is hosted by  Tynga's Reviews.

I went up to Dublin with one book in mind .. I didn't even get the book I wanted, but this happened.
A few of these books I've actually read before as ebooks. I enjoy the Penryn & the End of Days trilogy so much that I needed physical copies for my bookshelf, and then the Grisha trilogy (I still need to read Ruin and Rising!) were all signed by Leigh Bardugo herself so I just couldn't resist :3
I'm weak-willed.

What did you get this week?

  2. I want to read Red Rising so badly. Booktubers have been raving about it recently and have you seen what the author looks like? Damnn we need more hot authors Lol! The Saga graphic novels looks amazing even though I know they're not for my age. I will, however, pick them up when I think I'm ready for that type of content. I am reading the graphic novel Anya's Ghost. It's so good :D
Enjoy all your books and happy weekend reading :D

    1. I've heard nothing but good things about Red Rising, too! I didn't know what he looks like until right now and YES INDEED, HE CAN COME HERE FOR BOOKSIGNINGS ANY DAY ;)
Oh yup, Saga has got explicit already and I'm only a mere 20 pages in. I think it'll be worth the wait, though, whenever you choose to pick it up, because the artwork is really beautiful so far!
I've seen Anya's Ghost a couple of times on Goodreads and the style looks so cute! Hope you're enjoying it :3

  3. SORRY DID YOU SAY THE GRISHA BOOKS ALL SIGNED BY LEIGH BARDUGO? Wow. I'm jealous of your haul. Many book. Also, I've had my eye on Red Rising for awhile, so I'd be interested to see what you think.

    1. YES INDEED I DID. I couldn't believe it when I saw the "signed by author" stickers on them all. Turns out she was actually in Ireland for a book event last year but I didn't know. I don't think I'd actually read her books at that point :(
I feel like this will be the last ~many book~ haul for a while; I've run out of shelf space and keep falling over the growing piles of books on my floor. THIS DILEMMA NEEDS TO BE SOLVED T_T
I plan on reading Red Rising next month so awh yiss, we shall see!

    1. It's only this year I've finally got around to picking up any of Michael Grant's and James Frey's work; I loved what I read, so I'm super excited to read Gone and I Am Number Four! I've heard nothing but good things about Gone.
I'd always seen Winger in Booktube videos but, not gonna lie, the cover always put me off reading it. It's got to the point now, though, where I am so curious as to why everyone loves it :'3
      Thank you!
