Sunday Post #2

The Sunday Post

It's been an extremely quiet week for me. I ended up hurting my back and feeling generally under the weather, so I've spent most of my days getting some well-needed rest, all with a book in tow. I'm definitely going to need to get myself into some sort of better health soon as I have some busy times coming up over February that I definitely don't want to be feeling unwell for. The joys of having a near non-existent immune system! \o/ Anyway, enough of that; February is here and fingers crossed for a fresh start. I have a trip to Dublin planned for later in the week for a friend's visit and hopefully there will be a bookshop or two involved. I'm really looking forward to that, plus I have a couple of book purchases in mind and just the thought alone of potential new books is enough to raise my spirits! :)
I hope you all have a great week!

    1. Thank you! I'm unfortunately not loving it as much as I hoped I would. I still have a fair chunk of it left to read though, so I'm hoping it'll grow on me.

  2. Sorry you've been hurt/sick this week! I'm also on day seven of the worst sickness ever. But for me, that's meant a lot of cozying up with rereads and slacking on visiting my favorite blogs. Time to remedy that!

    1. Meep, I'm finally starting to come around to feeling like a normal person again now. I hope you're feeling better, too! Tea and books and internet make ALL the things more bearable for me :'3

  4. All the Right Places looks good! I'm so sorry that you're sick and have injured your back. That sounds like a horrible combination. I hope you feel better soon so that you can enjoy your trip to Dublin! Have a great week!

    1. Thanks! <3 I'm glad you enjoyed Saga! Whoa, I'd love to power through all four at once, too, but at the same time I don't want to be left with no more Saga to look forward to in my TBR. I ended up buying Volume 1 over Christmas and then the next three volumes before I'd even started the first. It was one of those "I don't even know if I'm going to like this BUT I WANT THEM ALL ANYWAY" purchases, so I'm so glad I ended up loving Volume 1 :)

  6. I do hope you get back to feeling yourself soon. I did something to my neck and got a really bad headache from it. Had to take a muscle relaxer to relieve it and being jammed at work hasn't helped.
Get better so you can enjoy every bit of your trip. Hope you post pictures:)

  7. I have seen so many posts this week about book clubs -- so weird how things happen in clumps. Hope your back gets better!

  8. I hope you feel better soon and enjoy your trip to Dublin ! I've been there a few years ago and absolutely loved it. I'm glad there are so many people who love Saga, it's simply one of the best comics ever. Have a great week ;)

    1. Thank you! I love Dublin so much, too, but I don't get there often enough even though it's only a 90 minute bus ride away. It's a nice treat when I do end up getting to visit :)
Even from Volume 1 alone, I think Saga is up there with my favourites already. I'm so excited to continue on with the rest of the bind-ups!
