Stacking the Shelves [4]

Stacking the Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks.

I managed to accumulate all but one of these since yesterday - I'm lethal when I go book shopping in Dublin :| I have read a couple of these already as eBooks, but seeing as 172 Hours on the Moon was on sale at €1.99 (how even?!) and We Were Liars was a cheap secondhand copy, I couldn't resist.
I'd also been looking for that 10th Anniversary copy of Looking for Alaska since I first saw it online and was very nearly giving up on ever finding it locally, but today I found it; I couldn't believe it! It's gorgeous and I'm so glad I finally got my hands on it.

What did you get this week?

  3. So many beyond amazing books in one blog post!:D I really need to read a Maggie Stiefvater book (I was thinking about starting with The Raven Boys):) That edition of Looking For Alaska was worth looking for- it's looks so special! Brandon Sanderson has so many series I have yet to explore- the covers of his books tend to be so elegant and give a small glimpse into his fantasy worlds!
    Here's my post:) : http://anotheronceuponatime.blogspot.sg/2015/02/stacking-shelves-books-galore.html

    1. Ahh yes, The Raven Cycle is one of my favourite series so I definitely recommend The Raven Boys! I'd recommend The Scorpio Races, too; Maggie Stiefvater's writing is so beautiful :)
I didn't realise when I saw it online that that edition of Looking For Alaska has black-edged pages, too, so that was an even nicer surprise!
I don't think I've ever seen a cover of his that I haven't liked! The Tor edition of Warbreaker is just so stunning. I really need to get that one soon!

    1. I read it last May and really liked it! I looked up what I'd said about it on Goodreads and my only problem was that I felt like the ending tied up too neatly, too quickly. I know I'll reread it but I don't know whether I'll actually properly review it. WE SHALL SEE.
