What did you get this week?
I wasn't crazy about The Young Elites, which was surprising because I love Marie Lu's writing! I DNFed The Seeker about 55% through because it just wasn't holding my attention. Great haul and I hope you enjoy your new books!

Oh no D: I haven't heard an awful lot about The Young Elites, but what little I have heard has been positive up to now. I enjoyed the first Legend book but ended up getting bored and frustrated with Prodigy - to the point where I actually gave up on it. I do want to try that series again though because I do enjoy Marie Lu's writing, too!
DeleteI'm a little wary of The Seeker, to be honest. I requested it because I adore high fantasy as a genre, but YA high fantasy can be very hit-or-miss with me.
The Young ELites sounds interesting but I haven't read any books from Lu yet. I hope you enjoy it though.

It does, right?! I've only read one-and-a-half of her books and I enjoyed her writing - just not the direction the story itself had taken. I hope you enjoy her books if you pick them up!
DeleteGreat haul! I have been seeing Seeker around quite a lot though I have yet to read it. The Young Elites is one that sounds pretty good. I love Marie Lu's Legend. I hope you enjoy your books! :)

I'd been seeing Seeker a lot in Waiting On Wednesday posts, so when it turned up in NetGalley's Read Now so I just couldn't resist getting it! I really enjoyed Legend but DNF'ed Prodigy - I do plan on giving it another chance, though.
